I will be selling
‘Harvest’ to my beloved church comrades I am holding a ‘sign and sell’
session after the 8.00 clock and 10 o’clock services, that is, at 9.00 and
11.00am.
Venue: St. James’ church,
Wulfstan Way, Cambridge CB1 8QJ. Special St James’ price of £5 a copy.
Date: Sunday 20th February. the sale and signing went well. i have no
complimentary copies of ‘harvest’ left.
I am looking forward to
discussing future possible publications with Aust8in Macauley. At the moment,
‘Crossing the Sahara By Scooter’ is an e-book on chipmunkapublishing.co.uk. It
is a collection of poetry. LIkewise ‘Poems For Crosspiece’ and ‘Sonnets for
Sanity’ are up my sleeve and ready when ‘Harvest’ has settled in. The there are
the prose pieces.
”Crossing the Sahara’ is a
collection of deeper poems, often longer and with a more developed style. Where
‘Harvest’ was written to tell a narrative about a journey, ‘Crossing the
Sahara’ is more reflective and intense, thought still with a mental health
angle. ‘Sonnets for Sanity’ explores the year in spirit and nature – 365 14
liners of a more conventional but flexible form.
I am looking forward to
launching ‘Harvest’. Details tbc.
i will be reading five or six
of the sonnets in a ‘Poems For the Twelve Days of Christmas’ group -.
all sonnets, loosely speaking.- at my neighbors film evening.
